Desember 2012, January and February 2013:
I had to go to
Bucharest
for customer support on our customers aircraft in
Romania.
Not to far from the hotel where a large shopping centre with a
good hardware store, where I could obtain all necessary parts for
building antennas.

IDuring the trhree short trips to Bucharest I managed to work 106
QSO's and 29 DXCC's on 80 m, 40 m, 30 m, 20 m 17 m, 15 m, 12 m and 10 m
on SSB, PSK and RTTY. The antennas used this time was
a half wave dipole antenna for 20 m and random wire antennas made out of installation cable. The antennas
was hanging out of the window of the hotel on a telescopic painters pole.
I was also on the air with APRS from the aircraft when I was out
flying with the customer. The flights took me to near all parts of
Romania.

The Kenwood TH-D72 was placed in a cup holder close to the window in the
paasenger cabin of the aircraft.
